Required to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance in plant or office facilities and/or on machines and equipment. performs work maintenance trades: machine and equipment repair, basic electrical, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and/or general maintenance. Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns. Uses hand and power tools. May be involved in testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment. Uses prints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. May be involved with monitoring/assisting work performed by vendors.
