Technical Support Manager
This position will be responsible for coordinating the efficient maintenance of production and facilities equipment to consistently meet safety, production, quality, cost, and delivery requirements. This will be accomplished by providing guidance and direction to the respective skilled trades and apprentices, reporting and monitoring status of equipment down-time, overseeing TPM, coordination of large equipment installation and contractors. This position will also oversee technical departments including Information Technology & Engineering.

- Planning and executing maintenance shutdowns and upgrades
- Budgeting and resource allocation
Communication and Collaboration
- Coordinating with production, quality, and engineering teams
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
- Quick thinking during equipment failures or production halts
Vendor and Spare Parts Management
Mechanical and Electrical Systems Knowledge
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Lean Manufacturing & TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
Safety and Compliance
IT and Automation Tools
What is required:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma.
- 5-7 years in a fast-paced unionized automotive manufacturing environment preferred.
- Off-shift support if required
- Effective communication and problem solving skills and a drive to succeed.
