What you’ll do:
Required to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance in plant or office facilities and/or on machines and equipment.
Performs work maintenance trades: machine and equipment repair, basic electrical, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and/or general maintenance.
Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns.
Uses hand and power tools.
May be involved in testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment.
Uses prints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
May be involved with monitoring/assisting work performed by vendors.
What is required:
Grade 12 and College Diploma is required.
Industrial Millwright Mechanic 433A.
2-5 years experience in an industrial setting.
Automotive experience an asset
Must be available to work a continental shift rotation of two weeks on day shifts followed by two weeks on night shifts. Shift hours are 6:30–6:30 for both rotations.
What’s in it for you:
Pay Rate: $44.48/hour
Double pay on Sundays: 8 of the 12 hours worked on Sundays are paid at double time
Extra pay for day shift: +$0.85 per hour
Extra pay for night shift: +$1.20 per hour
Cost‑of‑Living pay: +$0.75 extra per hour, on every hour worked
